* All required courses in Criminal Justice must be
completed with an average grade of "C" (2.00) or
better. ** The College has an articulation agreement
with the Vermont Correctional Academy, Vermont
Department of Corrections whereby recruits who
successfully complete the 8-week residential training
program receive 16 credits toward the criminal justice
degree at the College of St. Joseph.
A minimum of 15 credits must be taken
at the College of St. Joseph (regardless of the number
of credits transferred), nine of which must be in the
criminal justice major.
At the time of matriculation, students may request
to transfer credits completed at a regionally
accredited college or university if they earned a
grade of "C" or better in the course(s).
Note: In-service students should discuss these
requirements with their Criminal Justice Advisor.
Transfer students from criminal justice programs in
other schools are urged to review their transcript
evaluation with their advisor or the Registrar's
Office. They must satisfy the general education and
academic major requirements, regardless of the number
of criminal justice credits transferred. |
