Residence Halls
Experience independent living through our residential experience . . .
At the heart of the CSJ community is the residential experience. Your world will revolve around the close-knit community of CSJ’s two residence halls, Roncalli and Medaille. Both halls are organized in suite fashion with most units containing four bedrooms, a lounge, and a bathroom facility. The college dining room is in Roncalli Hall and prepares three meals a day, conveniently served to accommodate the academic schedule.
On-campus living provides you with more than a place to hang your hat—it’s a home away from home. Among your first contacts will be our residential life staff. The Residential Life staff is very approachable, and quickly becomes one of your most important sources of information and advice regarding life on campus. You will find them invaluable in facilitating your success as a student at CSJ.
In addition, when living on campus, you will develop closer relationships with faculty, administrators and other staff members. You will be able to give them direct feedback regarding your interests and needs. In the Vermont tradition, “town meetings” are held each semester to provide you with an opportunity to discuss issues involving campus life. These meetings enable you to talk directly to administrators who are actively involved in developing policy for the College.
