College of St. Joseph’s Doug Childs hit the 1,000-point milestone in Tuesday night’s men’s Sunrise Conference basketball game in Rutland. Childs had 14 points but it was not enough as Maine-Presque Isle earned a 92-80 victory. Brad Drysdale led CSJ with 29 points and Evan Jobst had 18. Kyle Carrigan had 22 and Chris Cossin 20 to lead the Owls. CSJ is 4-10 and 0-2 in the conference.
