The Lady Saints finished the 2014-15 season 24-6 overall, capturing the 2015 YSCC Championship and advancing through to the USCAA National Tournament championship game. The team went undefeated in regular season conference play. College of St. Joseph was home to the USCAA Division II player of the year, coach of the year, three USCAA All-Americans, two USCAA All-Tournament Team members, and the YSCC Conference outstanding defensive player and MVP.
The team is led by an experienced and successful head coach in Chris Wood.
Chris Wood is the head women’s basketball coach at CSJ. Coaching basketball is in Chris’ blood, as his father was a long-time coach who led Mount St. Joseph Academy to a state championship.
Chris has more than 20 years of coaching experience at the high school level, having coached at Green Mountain Union High School, Otter Valley Union High School and a number of other schools. Chris was named USCAA women’s Division II coach of the year in 2015. Read more about Chris.
