CSJ Men's Soccer

The men’s soccer program at College of St. Joseph has been built around characteristics such as hard work, loyalty, and commitment. The team has been made of student-athletes from throughout the country, including Rhode Island, California, and New York City. The program prides itself on bringing people from all walks of life together in pursuit of reaching one common goal, through teamwork and camaraderie.

The Fighting Saints men’s soccer team had a solid 2015 campaign that ended with a trip to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Championship Tournament. The Saints finished with an overall record of 11-7-1 and a Yankee Small College Conference record of 7-1. They made it to the YSCC championship game, coming up just short of a conference championship win to NHTI. Despite the loss of the conference title, the team still earned a bid to the USCAA National Tournament, held in Asheville, NC, due to their stellar play throughout the season.

The men’s soccer team has shown consistent improvement in recent years and has become a force in the YSCC.

CSJ’s Dominick Simpson (San Bernadino, CA) earned YSCC All-Conference honors last season and finished the year with a conference best 18 goals.
