Responsibilities of Borrowers:
Borrowers are responsible for ALL items charged out on their
ID cards, including returning or renewing material on time.
Guest Borrowers:
A "Guest Borrower" card for $20 per year is
available for those outside the college community who wish to
borrow library material. CSJ Alumni may obtain a guest card at
no charge.
General Borrowing
Privileges:
You may borrow a maximum of 10 books from the
circulating collections of the library at any one time. This
excludes resources of the GRASP (Greater Rutland Asian Studies
Project) collection and the CRL (Curriculum Resource Library).
The GRASP collection is restricted to those Schools that have
valid cards provided by the GRASP Coordinator, and Students,
Faculty and Staff of the college. Materials in the library
video recording collection do not circulate to guest
borrowers. You may use non-circulating materials (reference,
periodicals, microforms, and special collections) in the
library. You may make use of other library services, such as
reference assistance, photocopy machines, and the library
computer lab printer. Your card is non-transferable and may be
used only in person. For your protection, we require a second
form of identification (e.g. driver's license) or your alumni
borrower’s card to charge out books. A guest card does not permit
you to access subscription library databases from outside of
the library. You may, however, make use of these resources in
the library.
