CSJ Rankings

CSJ Ranked in Several "Best of..." Publications!

Our commitment to the new consumers of higher education is substantiated by the inclusion of CSJ in several ranking reports that focus on value and quality. As a friend of the college, we know you are interested in sharing in the recognition of our progress. It is this kind of public commendation from external sources that bolsters the college’s image and affirms the good work of our faculty, staff and administrators.

· For the third year in a row, the College of St. Joseph has been listed in the Octameron College Guide as one of the "great colleges for the real world". The book features colleges and universities that offer a focus on career development, convenience, quality, and cost. Click here for the full press release, or visit www.octameron.com for more information about Great Colleges for the Real World.

· U.S. News and World Report listed the College of St. Joseph as the number one school in the North for the highest proportion of classes under 20 students in the Universities-Master’s classification. The ranking appears in "America’s Best Colleges 2002", a report published annually by U.S. News and World Report. Click here for the full press release.

· The College of St. Joseph was listed in the 2002 edition of the Lumina Foundation for Education report on affordability in postsecondary education as the only four-year college or university in Vermont to be affordable (with loans) for dependent, low-income students. In addition, it was listed as the only four-year, private college to be affordable for dependent, median-income students. We are pleased to share our accomplishments with you, and hope that our relationship with you will continue to grow as we strive to provide our students, faculty, and the regional community with access to educational resources and a learning environment that constitutes excellence in higher education.
