College of St. Joseph

CSJ alumni from far and wide responded to the annual appeal to support the college’s scholarship fund. Volunteers worked the phones, following up on letters that had been sent earlier to the CSJ faithful. Only a two day event (another two days will be coming up in February) rather than the traditional four day effort as in previous years, the call volume was nonetheless impressive. Development Director Deborah Doenges reported, “I was pleasantly surprised by the very positive response to our appeal, given the state of the economy.” “ Our alumni are are wonderful group and very supportive of their alma mater.”

Thanks goes out to Derek Bonneau, Shawn Brunner, Marie Fallon, Kayla Billings, Prof. Jennifer Manner and Trustee Jim Reddy.  The winner of the $100 challenge goes to the Environmental Club because of Kayla’s hard work as she raised the most pledges during the event.  Congratulations, Kayla!
