Provider Scholarship Program
The College of St. Joseph is furthering its mission and addressing national concern over the rising cost of higher education by offering 70 Provider Scholarships for fall 2013. The scholarship for full-time undergraduate students, worth more than $60,000 over four years, incorporates a commitment to academic excellence, personal and professional growth and community service. Tuition, room and board costs are locked in over four years, which means that the direct cost to students decreases over their time at CSJ.
Success pays
The Provider Scholarship addresses college debt in a meaningful way. CSJ will invest in the success of its students throughout their undergraduate education. The college will add to the student’s scholarship level each year they participate in the program, reducing the overall cost of education. Aid goes up and out-of-pocket expense goes down, keeping loan debt in check.
Students are asked to remain in good academic standing, participate in one campus activity and one community service event each semester, and take college experience courses to develop a common bond. The program fosters personal leadership skills, civic responsibility and community service, while providing students of all income levels an education they can afford.
Who is eligible
There are a limited number of scholarships available. Applicants who are accepted to CSJ are eligible for consideration for the Provider Program and Scholarship. Your CSJ admission application is also your Provider Scholarship application. To get things started, fill out an application.
Provider Scholars are intellectually curious,want to make a difference on campus and in the community, and have a 2.0-4.0 GPA.
