There’s a lot to do in Rutland. As one of Vermont’s largest cities, there are many shopping and recreational activities available. From the Diamond Run Mall to the movie theater in the downtown Rutland Shopping Plaza, everything you need is right here.

Here is a sampling of what you can find in the greater Rutland area:

Killington and Pico ski areas

The college campus is located only 11 miles from Pico Ski Area and 14 miles from Killington Ski Area. Killington Resort is the largest ski area in the Northeast offering 140 alpine and snowboard trails.

Pine Hill Park

The park offers a highly refined, 300 acre, 16 mile trail system offering some of the very best mountain biking, running, hiking, walking, and snowshoeing in the central Vermont region. The park is also free to access.
