Sunrise Conference Team Sportsmanship Award To Men’s Soccer Team
The College of St. Joseph Fighting Saints men’s soccer team has been given the Sunrise Conference Sportsmanship of the Year award for 2009. Voted on by coaches from around the conference, the Sportsmanship Award is considered by many to better than winning the championship.
Coach Ray Fish said, “One of our team goals at the beginning of the season was to receive this prestigious award and we did it.” “Our program is definitely headed in the right direction”, continued Coach Fish.
