President Larry Jensen

College of St. Joseph’s sixth president Larry Jensen is a retired healthcare executive and well-known community leader in the Rutland Region.

Mr. Jensen has chaired and served on many boards in the area. He is currently chairman of the the James Bowse Health Trust and a Rutland Regional Medical Center board member. He recently served as Chairman of the Rutland City Police Commission and has been on the boards of Vermont Public Radio, Killington Music Festival, and Rutland Mental Health. 

During his career, Mr. Jensen served at RRMC as Vice President for Corporate Development from 1998 to 2008 and Rutland Health Foundation Major Gifts Officer from 2008 to 2010. He was also Vice President and Controller for Killington Ski Area.

Mr. Jensen graduated from The State University of New York at Geneseo with a BA in English in 1966 and completed his MBA in 1989 at the University of Vermont.
