The Power and Potential of Educators is an interdisciplinary educational course that gives students the opportunity to explore their ideas on identity, teaching, education, pedagogy, democracy, power, potential, diversity, and complex issues. The goal of this course is to allow students to use the No Entry book to develop an understanding of the importance of taking a multicultural approach to education and demonstrate the ability to engage diverse students. Students in the course will study the role and impact of power, institutional structures, and bias systems of oppression within their own setting. Then, they will be encouraged to apply concepts such as social justice and equity in education to their own setting.

This course is 100 percent online and YOU determine the number of graduate credits you want to earn, with options for one or two graduate credits.

The cost is $150 for one credit and $300 for two credits.
