College of St. Joseph’s Office of Admissions offers an Early Action Advantage for students interested in receiving an admissions decision early in their senior year. CSJ’s Early Action Advantage is a non-binding early application option, and offers financial benefits if a student chooses to enroll.

How does applying for Early Action benefit you?

  • Early Decision: An admission decision will be mailed to you by January 15.
  • Deposit Match: CSJ will match your non-refundable deposit of $500, if received by February 15.
  • EA Merit Scholarship: Accepted students who choose CSJ are eligible for a $1500 or $750 Early Action Scholarship (full-time/part time)*
  • Nonbinding: Applicants admitted in January under Early Action have until May 1 to decide whether or not to attend.

**The above rewards are in addition to other grants and scholarships for which you may be eligible.

Early Action Deadline is December 15.  APPLY NOW!

Because you may apply Early Action to other colleges and universities, you will have more time and flexibility to explore all your options. You will also know by mid-January whether you have received merit or need-based aid from CSJ.

An Early Action application and decision gives you more time and energy to focus on preparing for a successful transition to college.
