At CSJ, we consider athletics to be an important part of the college experience – whether you’re one of our student-athletes or rooting for our teams. Our student-athletes build character, leadership skills and community pride.
CSJ is committed to pursuing both athletic excellence on the court and playing fields, as well as academic excellence in the classroom, with many of our student-athletes earning all-academic team honors.
College of St. Joseph is home to the 2016 USCAA D-II Women’s Basketball National Champions, with our men’s basketball, baseball and men’s soccer teams also making National Tournament appearances in the last two years.
CSJ is also hosting the USCAA Small College World Series in 2016 and 2017 and the baseball program will receive an automatic bid for those two years.
The men’s basketball team ended the 2015-16 season 20-11 overall and made their second straight appearance in the USCAA National Championship Tournament.
Women’s Basketball put together a near perfect 2015-16 season, going 31-1 overall to win the 2016 USCAA National Championship title.
Baseball won their way through the 2014-15 season, winning the 2015 YSCC Championship and making their first appearance in the USCAA Small College World Series.
Softball got off to a great start in fall and spring ball for the 2014-15 season and were contenders for the YSCC Championship.
The men’s soccer team ended the 2015 season 11-7-1 overall, making an appearance in the USCAA National Tournament.
College of St. Joseph is looking is looking forward to growing the Women’s Soccer program during the 2016 season alongside new head coach Teri Perry.
College of St. Joseph added volleyball to its roster of athletic programs beginning fall 2015.
College of St. Joseph added its eighth intercollegiate varsity athletic program with the launch of men’s golf in fall 2016.
