College of St. Joseph will host its next “CSJ Days” Open House on Friday, July 20th. The Open House provides both prospective and accepted students and their families the opportunity to learn more about CSJ’s many degree programs, explore campus, and speak with admissions and financial aid counselors. In addition, representatives from area employers will be on hand to talk about career opportunities for CSJ graduates. Participating organizations include the Community Care Network, the Rutland Police Department, Killington Resort, and Rutland Regional Medical Center.
Information will be available for both undergraduate and graduate programs, and members of the general public are invited to attend as well to explore part-time and professional development opportunities. The event is scheduled 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with lunch included.
Attendees will hear from the College’s new president, Dr. Jennifer Scott, and learn about some of the new programs and initiatives being introduced this fall. Faculty from various academic divisions will be on hand to answer questions, and tours of campus and the Rutland area will be offered and available for families. For students who wish to apply for Fall 2018, admissions counselors will be on hand to expedite the application process with a Fast-Track Decision.
Members of CSJ’s athletic staff will be available to meet with students interested in varsity sports, varsity eSports, or the newly announced intramural sports program. Varsity teams include men’s and women’s basketball, soccer, softball, baseball and women’s volleyball. The varsity eSports team, which launched in 2017, is recruiting players for League of Legends, Fortnite, Rocket League and Hearthstone.
College of St. Joseph is located at 71 Clement Road in Rutland.
