Are the facilities where Commencement-related activities are held handicap accessible?
Yes. Tuttle Theater, the Athletic Center, and Roncalli Dining Hall are all handicap accessible. Please email jennifer.arnado@csj.edu if any of your guests need special accommodations.

Do we need tickets for Baccalaureate or Commencement?
Tickets are not required for either of these two events.

Will a class photo be taken?
A class photo will be taken immediately prior to Commencement rehearsal on Friday evening. It will be emailed to each graduate at their CSJ email no later than the week following commencement.

Will we be getting Commencement announcements?
Commencement Announcements are be available to download here. These can be printed or emailed.

What should I wear for Commencement?
Dress code for Commencement is typically business casual. Graduates should wear appropriate dress clothing and footwear under their regalia Commencement day.

Am I required to attend Baccalaureate?
Participation in the Baccalaurate celebration is not required of graduates. However, it is a deeply moving and special part of graduation weekend that all graduates and their families are invited to be a part of. Graduates can confirm their participation here before May 13.

Where can my guests stay?
You can find a list of area hotels and motels here. It is a good idea to mention that guests are attending CSJ’s commencement in order to take advantage of any discount the hotel might be offering.
