Professor Huettner holds her Certified Public Accountant licensure in the State of New Jersey, where she began her business career working for the CPA firm of KPMG. Ms. Huettner worked in a variety of international financial management positions for over 20 years before beginning her teaching career. The position that Ms. Huettner loved the most was when she was an Internal Auditor for the advertising agency of J. Walter Thompson, located in New York City. As an Internal Auditor, she traveled around the world, acting as liaison between top corporate management and local offices. Her job took her to such far-away places as South Africa, Hong Kong, and Peru.
Professor Huettner earned her Masters in Business Administration from Fordham University in New York City. She also holds teaching licensures in both Math and Business, and completed a Masters in Education program.
Professor Huettner enjoys teaching accounting and technology courses, as well as a variety of other courses in the Business Division. She was thrilled to teach a course in Decorative Painting recently, which has been a passion of hers for many years.
As an avid outdoorswoman, Ms. Huettner says she is lucky to live in Vermont, and she and her family take advantage of the fabulous hiking and skiing that is in abundance here.
