Muffie goes above and beyond the description of a food service worker and brings her experience as a mother to the campus. She prides herself on the ability to tell which student has come through the front door of the dining hall based on their footsteps, she knows when something may be wrong if a student has been eating differently, she makes sure that student-athletes eat their greens, and she encourages students to bring in their family recipes for the campus community to try! This willingness to experience different meals brings a different type of diversity to campus and a strong enthusiasm to embrace the different cultures within the CSJ community! Outside of the dining hall, Muffie spends time teaching fitness courses on campus, coaching men’s soccer at a local high school, and riding her horse, Joe, across the state of Vermont to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. Nothing beats a home-cooked meal, but Muffie comes pretty close!
