College of St. Joseph strives to achieve well-being through a campus wide model of prevention, intervention and continued assessment of needs.

We offer a variety of counseling services for students such as individual counseling, case management, group work, workshops, assessment services and referrals for outside resources.

Our trained counselors are here to help you with support in areas including depression, anxiety, stress management, relationship issues, roommate conflict, anger management academic problems, time management, substance use/abuse and many others.

Counseling Services operates on a year-round basis with appointments available Monday through Friday. Other times are available upon request, and can be scheduled by visiting Counseling Services, located in Tuttle Hall or by calling 802-776-5256.

Services are confidential and free to all full-time students.

Counseling Services considers the confidentiality of students’ information as critical to our work. Our professional staff adheres to ethical and legal guidelines in safeguarding students’ information. Exceptions to confidentiality are reviewed with all students during the intake process.

In the event of a medical or life threatening emergency, dial 911 immediately.
